The constitution prohibits cruel and unusual punishment, but I’d be in favor of waiving that in cases like this.

Aaaaaah, they’ll put him humanely out of his misery like a sick dog or cat.

Texas seems awfully slow this year if this is only execution #4. What of the normal Texas score of hundreds per year? Do they tend to cluster mostly in the latter part of a year?
