Danish television was initially flattered that President Obama welcomed Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt to the Oval Office last month by pronouncing that the mighty Danes “punch above their weight in international affairs.”
Very flattering.
Except President Obama has also, in the very same Oval Office setting, found that “Norway punches above its weight.” Ireland, too. And the Netherlands. Even the Philippines.
The Danish television show Detektor brilliantly strings together the tape, Jon-Stewart style and finds President Obama’s speechwriters are doing a lot of cutting and pasting.

This is a crack in the “wall of silence” surrounding obama. It’s been pretty clear that the popular entertainment industry has been instructed to keep “hands off” obama.
Stewart will not poke fun at him.
Letterman skewers Republicans on a nightly basis, but won’t touch him.
Nobody on SNL impersonates him, probably the first president since Gerald Ford who does not get lampooned on that show.
Leno will occasionally take a half-jab at him, but it is surrounded by five times the amount of GOP-bashing.
The people of the US “entertainment” industry are spineless bastards, crawling on the carpet before “dear leader,” afraid they are not licking his boots with sufficient fervor. It’s disgusting to watch them fawn over him.
Stewart has become unwatchable. If not for making fun of Fox News, they wouldn’t have a show. About once every three or four months they have a segment that skewers the left. That’s about it.
