For too long, "We, the People" have trusted that the "oath" taken by elected officials, including the President, would mean what the Founders intended.
We have forgotten, or never quite understood, that "the People," are, under the provisions of the Constitution, its "only KEEPERS," according to Justice Story's "Commentaries on the Constitution."
Had we been attentive to our liberties, we might not face the threats to liberty which surround us now.
