Over at this thread it comes out that school officials suspended him in October for graffitiing a locker. When the searched his bag, they found "Trayvon’s backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described the screwdriver as a burglary tool" [from linked article].
As more info comes out, I predict you're going to eat your words.
