Hmmmm...... Polls are not looking good for Rick right now, but a week is an eternity in politics. Maybe his “encounter” with the NYT Reporter will excite some people, who think it’s time someone other than Newt took it to the media, to get behind his campaign.

Facing the Government-Media complex in the face, and saying "B.S." directly like that to them without flinching, believe me, in a lot of Wisconsin towns and hamlets, VFWs, neighborhood corner sports bars, average workin' class folks getting screwed by Emperor Obama and the US Media, etc, believe me I think it will resonate. I thought it was great, a truly pivotal moment of the primary race, and can become real red meat, should actually be made into a commercial if I were in charge. I know Herman Cain thinks out of the box and would turn it into a funny positive if it happened to him. I think Rick is unconventional enough (his recent, brillian Obamaville internet ad proves it).

Mitt Romney is waaaaay too upper crust, prim and slick and pretty and phony and staged and wax-like for that kind of basic demonstration of gutsy, working-class humanity, passion, and righteous indignation--where the rubber meets the road with a lot of Wisconsinites. You gotta' "relate" man, to the folks.

We already know Willard had every intent of having the boxing gloves OFF during the primary to smack the CRAP out of conservatives, but it will be kid gloves toward Obongo and the Media, just like John McCain's failed template in 2008. Honestly, I do not believe the GOP grassroots, if alerted to this, really want the McCain/Romney route and prefer Rick's little recent dust up with the Obama-toadies masquerading as "journolists."
