If Newt wants Romney (ridiculous on its face), why then wouldn’t he withdraw, endorse him, give his delegates to Mitt, and campaign for him?

Instead, for the past month, Newt’s only ads attack Mitt- and today again he defended Rick (re: Rick’s temper tantrum)- citing the pressure of the campaign.

BINGO! Not only that, the party establishment would embrace and fall in love with Newt and he would be the GOP's kingmaker! He could probably write his own ticket from here on, IF that is what he wanted..

Not only did he graciously defend rick, when, if santorum had the same type of opportunity, he would gotten off a major smarm on Newt. but more importantly, Newt pivoted from that right onto Obama and his hot mic remarks, with a scathing indictment, and asking what other deals has barack made for after the election? He said santorum wasn't the dangerous one, obama was... Rick Santorum has never been that gracious or honest about Newt..
