You are right, I suppose there are several reasons. But there is no good reason, especially here on Free Republic, to be contorting the story and the information to such a ridiculous level. I guess some also just cannot give up on their initial knee jerk opinions, and will follow them all the way to hell and back, rather than simply admit being wrong.
