The Rev. Michael Pfleger today joined the chorus of voices demanding justice in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an African-American teenager shot in Florida by a man on neighborhood watch.
Pfleger told the audience at St. Sabina Roman Catholic Church to demand racial justice and called on officials to treat the death of all children as equally tragic.
"America, we demand you deal with race," Pfleger preached. "We demand you protect our children." ....
During the service today at St. Sabina, dozens of children and teenagers locked arms and circled the altar. One held a sign reading "We are all Trayvon Martin."
Many worshipers at St. Sabina on Sunday donned hooded sweatshirts, which Martin was wearing when he was shot. Even a statue near the altar appeared to be wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and holding bags of Skittles and a can of iced tea, items Martin was carrying when he was shot.
Pfleger challenged the idea that children wearing hoodies should be treated with suspicion.
"Jesus wore a hood," Pfleger said. "Is he suspicious?"

I assume this clown will begin with arranging protests against Planned Parenthood first if he is really concerned about protecting children
For those who don’t know him, Pfleger is a dissident Catholic, a bitter leftist, and a race baiter. The Archbishop removed him from his parish a while back, but then regretably restored him.
What he says has absolutely nothing to do with the Catholic Church.
What don't you devote your life to clean up your own crime-ridden backyard there in Chicagoland....??

Pflegler is Jim Jones, sans Kool-Aid.......an atheist Marxist who realized he could advance Marxism by wrapping it up under the guise of religion.
Does he ever talk about the carnage in the streets of Chicago? How many black youth in Chicago have been murdered in Chicago in the month since Trayvon Martin was killed?
If you really want to save the children, particularly the black children, take a stand and march against Planned Parenthood. Otherwise you’re just a political pawn, set out to stir racial hatred in another mindless race war.

It’s called Black Liberation Theology, and that’s what Pfleger teaches from the pulpit. It has it’s roots in “religious communism”.
Meanwhile 10 people were murdered last week in Chicago(Including a 6 yr old little girl) and no one says a word

I don’t know who ‘we’ is but I don’t want you anywhere near my children.
Does everyone know that murder is the leading cause of death of young black men? And that 93% of those murders are committed by other black men?
If we really want to protect the children and all that, we have to address the ghetto culture and all of the elements which contribute to the violence.
While tragic, this one death is hardly typical. From listening to the liberals, you would swear that America has not changed since the days of Emmitt Till, and that the biggest threat to black youth is a racist with a gun.
In fact, the biggest threat to black youth is other blacks with guns, but that fact does not fit the liberal narrative, so that fact is ignored.
This guy’s about as Christian as a donkey is a horse.
And that six year old girl would remind Obama of his daughters, if he wanted to speak out against the ongoing violence in the streets.
The 6 yr old girl(Aliyah Snell I believe her name was) actually does resemble Sasha Obama..I wonder if Obama looks at little Aliyah is he reminded of his own daughter? Who knows, he doesn’t give a damn about the victims who were massacred in Chicago or anywhere else. He only cares when it can score him political points
It's like what Muslims wear. The reality is that people profiling on skin color is based on statistics. If Asians had the same murder rate as blacks, people would profile Chinese, Japanese and Indians. If the French were involved in as many hijackings as Muslims, their berets would be profiled.
