I saw something earlier this weekend that showed the Obama administration forecasting that the national debt would be 900% of GDP by 2070, whereas the Paul Ryan plan calls more a more moderate growth and a balanced budget by the year 2040. No wonder people are not enthusiastic about Republican leadership. Taking 28 years to balance the budget is not fiscally responsible, it’s more of the same slow incremental strangulation of the economy.

Does anyone actually believe the “budget” will ever be balanced by either of these parties? For that matter, what budget? When is the last time there WAS a budget? Or, actually adhered to? Let’s face it, they just spend what they want to spend when they want to spend it and just print the greenbacks as they see fit.

It’s all one big game.

Yeah, if two things happen:

1. The TEApublicans take over the GOP.

2. The GOP takes full control of the federal government.
