Gleason is the biggest problem with the Pennsylvania GOP. He isn't just a RINO or a Vichy Republican, he's an out and out Quisling.

Do you see any consensus emerging about any of the GOP alternatives to Steve Welch? The only one I see even running advertising out here is Smith.

Rohrer is the logical conservative alternative, and I see the various Tea Party movements working to coalesce around an alternative, but the question becomes, can conservatives overcome the establishment RINO presence in the state. But with the field as divided as it is, it's gonna be hard to guess what could happen.

The one good thing is that Gleason has left a bad taste in the mouths of Philly-area Republicans, and that could hurt Welch down this way.
