I’ve been wondering why the local police didn’t arrest
and charge George Zimmerman. David Codrea, at his blog
War On Guns says he has this “sneaking suspicion” that
this was done to impugh the Stand Your Ground law concept.
I fear he may be right.
Mr. Zimmerman was cooperative with the police, didn’t lawyer up, and went downtown and spend 5 hours talking with them. Further, he had a broken nose and damage to the back of his head. There was another witness who called 911 who corroborated Zimmerman.
The usual suspects are looking for that other witness.
