The worst Zimmerman should be tried for is 2nd degree murder or manslaughter since his aggressiveness led to this happening.
I don’t think he set out to kill the kid.
Something else I wonder about is: Where was the gun? Did Trayvon see the gun and struggle with Zimmerman just to avoid being shot? PErhaps that led to the confrontation. Maybe he thought the guy was going to shoot him so he took off..Zimmerman then probably said “take another step and i’ll shoot you”, supposing he had his gun drawn.
Next thing, Zimmerman gets within arms reach of the kid, he lunges at him in an effort to knock the gun away from him, fearing for his own safety. Zimmerman then falls to the ground, accounting for the wetness on his back.
The gun is not far from Zimmerman on the ground, so Trayvon tussles with him to avoid him grabbing the gun, and calls for Help because this guy is grabbing a gun, possibly saying racial stuff, and Trayvon knows he will be shot if the guy gets the fun.
Zimmerman reaches the gun, aims, and manages to shoot the kid.
Now you’re just making stuff up. What is the point of that?
