Like I say, I’m not a gun expert, but in laymans terms, Bolt action 30-06 caliber deer rifle with a scope. Remmington makes a couple models as do others of the big name companies. Pretty much one step down from a military sniper rifle. Accurate to several hundred yards on a bad day with high velocity and a really big punch.

I love my 30-06, but man is ammo a bit pricey. Compared to, say, .308 or something.

America’s worst domestic sniper was a black man and teen boy, John Mohammed, and Lee Malvo.

The DC sniper shooting spree was terrifying, I was hoping that they would get that guy after every shooting, but he was somehow clever enough to avoid detection.

One of the worst events I’ve followed on the news.
