And there’s probably hundreds of those for every AR-15.
I’m no gun expert but it cracks me up that the first gun everyone thinks of is an AR when the SHTF. Of course there is a good reason for that...great weapon. But a scoped 06 has WAY more power, distance, accuracy etc. It’s just slower. And of course a 12 gauge for closer needs. Buck oe slug.
And exactly what you said. MILLIONS of them under beds, in closets etc. And besides, most people would be no more effective with an AR than a semi auto .223 ‘hunting rifle. One just looks cooler than the other.
And if it were full auto/selective fire, the untrained, like me would probably waste more shots than hits to begin with.
