It was 7:11 pm when Zimmerman made the first call to police, Trayvon’s girlfriend called him at 7:12 and that call lasted for 4 minutes. By 7:17 the police were on the scene and Trayvon was dead.
Sunset was at 6:22 pm that day in Sanford and it was raining.
Thanks. I don’t think daylight savings time had started on that date, had it? If not, it was full dark and clouded-over-raining which would have made it even darker and harder for both parties to see who they were dealing with. Seems like a huge factor in interpreting the incident.
