As you note - he would have been running into blacks very time he went around checking on his neighborhood.
What was different in the “Why here - why now” question? Since Zimmerman was the same person, and it was the same neighborhood - it must be TM was the difference.
What is overlooked in this incident is the kid’s mindset at the time of the incident. It’s entirely possible he believed he was being attacked, and defended himself. The bottom line is if Zimmerman had backed off when the dispatcher told him to we wouldn’t be getting treated to a whole new round of Sharpton type nonsense. No matter how I look at this I can only blame Zimmerman for his poor judgement, in the end. And we’re all going to pay the price for that.
