Now back to the address ZImmerman gave ~ he said "111 RETREAT VIEW CIRCLE" then the dispatcher asked was that 111 or 1111 Retreat View then George said "That's the clubhouse...."
Being just a dumb old postal worker I bothered to look up that address: 111 RETREAT VIEW CIRCLE SANFORD FL 32771 on the USPS address look up website (the one you get to find ZiP CODE.
IT told me ADDRESS DOES NOT EXIST.
The other address is 1111 RETREAT VIEW CIR SANFORD FL 32771-7275, and you'll notice USPS gave me the full 9-digit zip.
THERE is a "111" address in the area ~ at an Orthodontists office on a nearby street.
1111, according to Google Earth backs on a low wall (so the chilluns and puppies don't get hurt climbing over it) on a public street.
GOOGLE Earth does not seem to have gone inside this development. At the same time when you look at the map the CLUB HOUSE IS A full city block away from 1111 Retreat View.
111 is on the most logical route to get from this development to the nearest convenience store.
Oh Google Earth is so accurate. I put in my Mom’s address and it shows the house 4 houses down.

Actually, it is from the police report.
“Zimmerman was also bleeding from the nose and the back of his head.”

The location has a sidewalk with grass on either side. The same report says Zimmerman’s back was “covered in grass”. And a witness reports Martin was on top of Zimmerman.
Put that together, and a plausible case exists that Zimmerman was on his back, with his torso in the grass and his head against the sidewalk, getting beaten. If the back of his head was bleeding, then either the beating was pretty hard, he hit the sidewalk when tackled, or he was getting his head smashed against the sidewalk.
We have no way of knowing which it is, but then, my post said, “If the kid was pounding his head against the sidewalk...”, not, “Since the kid was...”.
But since the cops did not arrest Zimmerman, and still have not, it seems likely the press accounts are a bit slanted.
