Especially if they dress themselves up like a thug.
That’s not racism, that’s stereotyping. And stereotyping is a natural and very good thing. But dressing like what you call a “thug” isn’t necessarily suspicious (maybe if you live in the rural boondocks). “Thug” is not race specific, unless you’re trying to make it out to be. Then, of course, you’d just be ignorant, not necessarily malicious.
We’ll find out what the facts in this case are in due time (well, we’ll NEVER know the whole story), but real “thugs” travel in packs. A lot of people in life are different from you. That doesn’t necessarily mean they’re up to no good. I realize it’s popular to overreact when it feels good, but that doesn’t make people right. In any event, we’ll find out more in the coming weeks.
