And here we get to the heart of the issue because it's statements like this that set the stage for an incident like this to happen. It gives moral justification for violent reactions to perceived animus. By his rhetoric, Sharpton has just created a whole new generation of Trayvon Martins, convinced that they should strike rather than negotiate in disputed social circumstances, which is probably what really happened in Sanford.

Nobody want to know the facts about this case and nobody cares. All that matters is, how do you explain the violent reactions within the Black community, that everybody knows is true, without indicting it. No less than cultural pride is on the line here.

This could escalate very quickly and very dangerously if people don;t come to their senses soon, which doesn't seem to be happening, especially since the media is willfully fueling it. The Police Chief in Sanford no doubt has already figured this out which is probably why he temporarily stepped down. He senses the seriousness of where this can go, and where it's heading already.

People are right, it's going to be a long hot summer....
