Sandra needs more studying and less fluking. Her bachelor's degree is in Sexuality. Difficult to find work with this disgrace unless you want to run or work in a sporting house. Hence she goes to law school after an apparent hiaitis as she knows that law school leads to politics which is the profession of many whores.

She can’t do math and apparently doesn’t have a clue....good thing she’s going to be a lawyer. I’d hate to think of her in a profession that actually requires a working brain.

Contraception that costs $1500???? What is it a solid gold chastity belt? Come on this woman throws around stories like cow chips on a sunny Okalahoma afternoon. I do not believe one word that comes from her nouth. Show me the evidence. What medical condition prevents someone from taking the standard form of contraception?....For way less than $1500 that person could use a diaphram or an IUD ( yes they do exist) or even the rythmn method.

“Women have different types of medical needs that require much more expensive forms,” she said. “One woman contacted me. She was very, very upset that that quote was being emphasized because she has a genetic condition that requires her to use contraception that costs $1,500.”

“So, this is medicine,” said Fluke. “It’s not one-size-fits-all, and while it’s great that some women can access more affordable contraception, contraception needs to be accessible and affordable for all of the women who need all of the different kinds.”

And the percentage of women that MAY need $1500/month contraception is?

“Sandra Fluke Says She Didn’t Know Target Sells Birth Control Pills for $9”

And now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

“said Fluke. “It’s not one-size-fits-all, “

Yes it is and that is exactly what she is advocating. Forcing me into the same policy as the one she desires requires a ONE SIZE FITS ALL policy.

Liberalism is certainly a mental disorder.

Fluke said: “So, I’m not familiar with specific department store policies. I know that some generic forms of contraception are less expensive than others and that that has been widely reported. But what has not been widely reported is that many women cannot use those forms of contraception.”

Anyone know the name(s)of these magical contraception pills that cost #3,000 per year?

Just spent the last 5-10 minutes trying to find it through internet searches and on target’s own website. I could not find any reference to Target selling it for $9, other than the stories specifically about Fluke and this case.

People like this women are so provincial in their thinking. Because they are fortunate to live in a country where medical choice is so abundant, and healthcare knowledge and innovation are still first-rate, they simply believe it should be afforded to them.

But consider if this woman lived in a remote village in Africa, or South America, or even some Russian or Indian hell-hole. Would she have the same healthcare choices? Would she be able to demand exotic medicines and tailored therapies? She most certainly would not. She'd be lucky to have a leak-proof condom to offer her partner. Most likely, if she didn't want to become pregnant, she wouldn't have sex.

Just because something exists (healthcare), doesn't mean you can demand it as a right.

“For a lot of students who, like me, are on public interest scholarships, that’s practically an entire summer’s salary,”

If the cost of GU is as I have been hearing, then that means that this scholarhsip is funding $40K or to be more precise, Sandra is getting paid $40K tax free. That is equal to her earning a salary of $60K a year....

There's a line from the Doors movie said by Meg Ryan's character which is appropriate. Likely can't use it here, however.

Target? You can’t be serious. You don’t really expect her to go into a Target, do you? Around “those people”? What’s next? Wal-Mart? Monster truck rallies? Country music?

She deserves better, don’t you think?

Yes, if you want the “have your period ever leap year” pill—yeah, those are expensive.

But people on welfare don’t get to drive Ecalades.

Ms Fluke, to be a holder of a post-graduate degree, has flunked doing the obvious. She didn’t bother to do research into the cost of that birth control she is convinced no law student can afford. She failed to realize her statement would be so easy to ridicule.

She’s the poster child for the saying, “there’s book learning and then there’s common sense.”
