This is what happened to the civil rights movement.

100% correct.

I'll go you one further. Looking for someone or something to blame for the incredible excess of Federal power under which we freedom-loving Americans struggle today? It's racism.

Only Federal power was able to check the institutional racism that was rampant in this country up until very recently.

Bulls**t! The concept of racism, in the modern sense, is a creation of Marxists as a tool to tear this country apart. It is ridiculous, on its face, to say that recognizing differences between various races and cultures of people is some kind of horrifying behavior. For example, if you were to say that black people tend to have thick "nappy" hair and big lips, everyone would cry "racism! racism!" despite the fact that it is generally true, and furthermore is not even necessarily a negative statement. Nothing wrong with big lips, but just try remarking upon the big lip characteristic and your average PC idiot will explode.

Throughout human history, people have tended to favor their own group, whether that group be the local tribe, the national culture, or the race as a whole. Europeans favored Europeans, Chinese favored Chinese, black Africans favored blacks. It was the most natural thing imaginable. It was not some heinous act of the devil to do so.

Racial differences can be overcome, to where, say, blacks and whites can live together as one people, but, to do that, you need to unite them with a common culture. You CANNOT have two racially disparate groups of people living in close proximity adhering to different cultures and not expect friction, yet, when we have exactly that situation, the modern PC idiot sees the friction and cries "racism! racism!" as if they are shocked that two such distinct groups might not get along in every way.

Additionally, the concept of "institutional" racism is the biggest horses**t of all. Any hostility toward a person of a particular race occurs on an individual level, ALWAYS. There is no racism inherent in an institution. It is individuals who commit acts, not brick and mortar, not pieces of paper. And, quite frankly, there are very few individuals left, at least on the white side of things, who would actively employ such a worldview.
