"There has been a lot of media attention to the recent incident where George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin."

I'm betting Mr. Zimmerman has at lest 25 lawyers trying to call him as we speak, just on the above statement, which seems to throw the weight of the town's officialdom on the side of Mr. Zimmerman's supposed guilt. Last time I checked, a trial is needed to judge guilt or innocence.

It will not be Obama or his DOJ that has Zimmerman arrested.

It will be a anonymous Grand Jury.

Despite their desire to inject themselves into every state issue.

Not even Zimmerman himself denies that he pulled the trigger, that the bullet hit Martin, and that Martin is now dead i.e., Zimmerman shot and killed Martin.

If the official's statement read "murdered Martin" that would be different. It is perfectly accurate as it currently reads.

Hasn’t Zimmerman admitted that he shot and killed Trayton?

Why? No one is questioning whether Zimmerman shot and killed Martin. He's admitted to it.

It's everything else that has people in an uproar.

From what I have read so far, Zimmerman was defending himself when he shot Trayvon. The initial police investigation was correct in not having enough to arrest him on and plenty to defend himself with under "stand your ground".

Sorry Trayvon, but you learned the hard way that you can't throw a beat down on someone just because they ask you what you are doing skulking about their gated community...

There has never been any question that Zimmerman shot this guy ( note I did not say Kid—someone six feet tall is no child.)

I just wish the media would keep their uninformed opinions to themselves. I listened to A Cooper last night and his side comments were just horrible.

It’s just a statement of fact; Zimmerman shot and killed Martin. It doesn’t imply guilt.

Zimmerman immediately acknowledged that he "shot and killed" Martin. That is not in dispute. Whether the shooting was a crime or not, is the whole issue, and very much in dispute.
