"Santorum is going for the conservative vote;"

No.

Santorum is for the SOCIAL CONSERVATIVE vote. That's not the conservative vote. Many of us believe that anyone who would use the FEDERAL government to compel their way way of thinking are anti-conservative whether that be Santorum or Obama.

No. Santorum is for the SOCIAL CONSERVATIVE vote.
***A reasonable enough point.

That’s not the conservative vote.
***Sure it is. If you can’t count on the candidate’s social conservative positions, you cannot count on their fiscal conservative positions.

Many of us believe that anyone who would use the FEDERAL government to compel their way way of thinking
***Straw argument. Santorum wouldn’t be strong enough to use the fedguv to compel his way of thinking, and he probably doesn’t seek to do so at any rate.

are anti-conservative whether that be Santorum or Obama.
***Other than the fact that Santorum is on the right moral path and Obama isn’t, your reasoning is delightfully interesting, although it’s fallacious.
