Media Matters Launches New Ad Campaign Slamming Rush Limbaugh

Despite the media firestorm surrounding Rush Limbaugh having died down, the conservative radio host isn't off the hook just yet.
According to the Washington Times, the liberal watchdog group Media Matters has launched a $100,000 ad campaign criticizing the host for calling Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" and "prostitute" after she testified before the House on contraception.
The ads are currently being broadcast in eight cities, with some urging listeners to tell their local radio stations to take Limbaugh's show off the air and including the telephone numbers of stations broadcasting Limbaugh's show.
In response, Premier Radio Networks, which syndicates Limbaugh's show, released the following statement:
"This is part of an organized political campaign by professional special interest groups being waged to silence Rush Limbaugh and intimidate those who want to advertise on his show. This is not about women, its not about ethics, and its not about the nature of our public discourse its a direct attack on Americas guaranteed First Amendment right to free speech. Its essentially a call for censorship masquerading as high-minded indignation and its a blatant political attempt to silence an enormously popular, influential voice because they dont like his point of view."

(I suggest you call the radio station and express your support for Rush)

...Sandra Fluke a “slut” and “prostitute”...
So they're basically going after the eyeballs that are watching reruns of "Saved by the Bell" at 3am.
Good luck with that.
I love this, they are making Limbaugh even more well known. The word is that right now advertising on Limbaugh’s show is a bargain at last months rates. His listening base has grown significantly since all this started.
I only got to listen to the first hour and a half today. Did he ever even mention this?
Which is why the other piece of this scam is a whispering campaign by anonymous “radio insiders” with “inside information” that proves this is really and truly bleeding Rush dry of his lifeblood revenues.
Media Matters, isn’t that run a homosexual guy who recently paid his homosexual partner $800,000 in blackmail money? Is that the guy who’s running the, “Fluke’s not a slut” ads?
I guess it didn’t work well enough last time.
What utter nonsense you post. Please post a cite or stop trading on bogus rumors. Go back to your Media Matters home or DU and stop posting here.
(1) Just spell his name right and identify the local broadcast station and time(s).
(2) You might include that Mr. Limbaugh was absolutely correct in connecting her habits and status with her character quality. That is not a pejorative estimate, just a statement of publicly known fact.

Back when David Crock was pretending to be a conservative, he called Anita Hill “a little bit nutty and a little bit slutty.” Someone should throw that back in his face. Talk about hyprocrisy!
How long does it have to be said that Fluke did not testify before the House about anything?
uhh.....they are included (or should I say “cited”) in the AP article on this.
Not to mention I wouldn’t let my computer touch DU with all the viruses floating around on there.
I think you misread my post. I am saying a whispering campaign to spread the rumor that Rush is going broke is part of the Media Matters campaign. I don’t for a minute believe it is true.
So what, let the faggot Brock spend Soro’s money it ain’t gonna work, it is not series or hugh.
Let’s double down and call the stations in support of Rush, then call the stations carrying Bill Mahr and Ed Schultz. Mahr and Schultz like to use the “c” word.
It’s funny that most people overlooked one of the next comments Rush made in the original. The line where he said she isn’t a slut. He should have never apologized.
Is MM a tax exempt organization?
