I will point out that revelations says the beast will rule for 42 months. If you figure from January 21 of 2009, 42 months later will be ~ July/August 2012.
4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
If Obama gets kicked out in ~July/August, be very afraid.

Well, to be frank, I think the beast would rule the entire world, not just the US. I suspect the US will be destroyed, via Rev. 18. The hint: The merchants will watch her burn and say, “Now who’s gonna buy all our stuff?”
IOW, if Obama IS the Beast of Revelation, he will be set up as ruler of a one world government, and teh 3.5 year clock will start then.
Remember, the bible is clear that in those days it will be worse than at any time in history. We have a ways to go, not that it couldn’t happen almost overnight. Sept. 1st, 1939 did.
