If Zimmerman was chasing me, and was confronting me for nothing, and had a gun and made threats with it, I would fight him too to save my own life. A lot of "ifs" in your statement. There is quite a bit of difference between "chasing" and "following". There is no evidence that Zimmerman showed the gun to Martin before the altercation took place. There is no evidence that he made threats with it. The altercation took place less than 100 feet from where Trayvon Martin was staying. If he was afraid of Zimmerman, why didn't he just go inside?
