While the Pacific Northwest gets all the press concerning lib/sems destroying the logging industry, The Adirondacks of northern NY are filled with towns that barely subsist now thanks to what lib environmentalism and Dem politics did to the logging industry there.
Go to Google or whatever and look up the Tri-Lakes area. Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake and Lake Placid (of Olympic fame) along with other area communities/and their businesses.. Read up on their history over the last 30-40 years. There, you see Wisc’s future.

Off-topic a bit, but until the Adirondack Park is dissolved, and local counties upstate once again can control their futures, upstate NY will continue to stagnate and decline....
In some cases, “forever wild” is the equivalent of “forever depressed”....
