Hundreds of blacks killed by blacks - no problem for the MSM. A black killed by a white and it's 'katy bar the door'. Guess that applies to Hispanics now too.
It's sad so few journalists in the early 60's and even mid-sixties had any interest in the civil rights movement. If they had, they wouldn't have to overcompensate constantly.
The MSM's trying to relive an experience they missed - either because they were conformists (most likely), racists ( and yeah most southern newspapers were at the time) or they lacked the ability to empathize with a 'out' group. The MSM hasn't changed - just the stats on who's called a victim has changed.
