Wackiness turned to nastiness and back again in the short but bitter special election in South Brooklyn to replace a state senator who had pleaded guilty to corruption charges. But the biggest twist of the race was its outcome or lack thereof when election night ended.

Anyone else notice a trend in NYC of Repubs winning or being really competitive in seats held by Commie Lib Rats? The fact that Storobin got this close and may win is amazing.
Anything close to being close
is stolen by the socialists.
Democrats are trying to figure out how many votes they need to stuff to steal this.
The boroughs are full of ‘traditional’ Democrats that are no more pleased with the Left than we are. Habit and political laziness is largely at fault for their idiotic support of the Leftism masquerading as good ol’ Democrats.
The problem is many of those traditional dems are union members and have much vested in the status quo. Go back to the 70’s and earlier and then you’re talking WWII and Korea vets so even if union members they had an outlook of country first instead of the current me first.
Ahh the Republican is Russian so he has a huge base here. I don’t know what their turnout is like but if he gets in it could turn into a safe seat for our side.
