It is clearly a joke. I shouldnt be surprised that a jokey remark by a Brit gets taken literally by Americans, as you are a literal people. No sense of irony.
It was a joke, get it. Cameron isnt gay and neither is your dismal President. It was a jokey remark that seems to have gone right over American heads.
