I totally agree with you. I know what he meant, and I agree with him. The trouble is the MSM puts things like this on sound-byte loop mode when said by Republicans. When said by Democrats, they get do-overs.

Oh absolutely, but in this particular case I don’t think “if you want free stuff vote for someone else” is going to cost him any votes from the entitlement class and it might gain him a few among those who are tired of paying for the free ride. It’s certainly nowhere near the ammo that Santorum’s “I don’t care what the unemployment rate is” fubar gives them.
