Some of people here are nothing but the mirror image of the left wing radicals they (and I) hate. They can’t see the trees through the forest. They’re so caught up in some political wet dream that they’re willing to sink the country in order to achieve their party shangrila.
They talk about the Constitution but are not willing to vote for a moderate conservative that would put in a conservative on the Supreme Court. If they stand down because their man didn’t get the nod then Obama gets to stack the Supreme Court, and then it is all over. Our beloved Constitution is done for.
People need to look at the bigger picture and stop being so juvenile and selfish. Wah! If I can’t have my way I’m taking my vote and going home! Wah!
When it comes right down to it we can either save the country or damn it. When it comes time we can do our part or stand aside and watch it all burn to the ground.
Lead, follow or get out of the way. This is an unprecedented time in our history and we need to be responsible, mature, reasonable conservatives about this.

1. If you favor a left liberal like the Mittwit as a GOP POTUS candidate and actually call him a conservative, then you have not a clue as to the meaning of "conservative." Mittens is Obozo in whiteface, no more, no less.
2. The most important issues, as ever, are babies, marriage, guns (those three issues requiring the appointment of judges with a copy of the constitution and reading ,lessons as necessary), foreign policy interventionism, slashing taxes on ordinary folks and eviscerating the squandering of tax money on leftist causes. Romney is a failure on each and every count. Other than shamelessly whoring after personal power and protecting Muffy's and Skipper's trust funds and distributing the national budget to his corrupt pals, Mittwit is clueless and purposeless.
3. If Mittwit is the GOP nominee, then the country is already sunk no matter who "wins" in November.
4. You live in Massachusetts according to your homepage. By all means, tell us about the brilliant "conservative" court appointments of the unprincipled Twit Romney to the courts of Taxachusetts. OK, then who did he TRY to appoint??? Who DID he appoint and what was (were) his, her, their "conservative" credentials?
5. Again as to court appointments: Wanna guess what the following SCOTUS judges have or had in common other than being lawyers? Earl Warren, William Brennan, Potter Stewart, Herod Blackmun, Warren Burger, Lewis Powell, Sandra Day O'Connor, Sandra Day O'Kennedy, David "Swish" Souter? That is just SCOTUS. Our current situation is sooooo bad, we actually have to root and pray for a sorry POS weathervane like Sandra Day (Webster vs. Planned Barrenhood, Lawrence vs. Texas) O'Kennedy to survive the Obozo administration until an actual Republican conservative (i. e., NOT Mitt Twit) becomes POTUS to appoint O'Kennedy's successor (and Breyer's and Ginzberg's, and Sotomayor's and Kagan's). If GOP senators any had backbone 40 of them would stop the music and would prevent the appointment of ANY SCOTUS justices or other judges by Obozo. That would mirror what Harry Reid would do if the GOP had a POTUS and made appointments, but we would not want to emulate the Demonrats, would we? Oh nooooo! Our "moderates" (read junior social issue Bolsheviks) want to roll over and play dead until your precious constitution is permanently toast. It is in their DNA and they can't help it! Cowardice! Cowardice! Dance to the muuuusic!
6. Our senators might (MIGHT) resist Obozo appointments. If Robamney appoints another William Brennan or four, the spineless "moderates" will rubber stamp his each and every appointment and sellout. Thank you for playing but..... No thanks!
7. In social issue Bolshevik RINO terms "juvenile and selfish" means principled and conservative. And what is selfish in opposing Robamney? I was not aware of how I might profit financially and personally from resisting Robamney. "Lead, follow or get out of the way" means "please elect Mitt Twit to destroy our party and our country." Only he will save Muffy's trust fund or please the polo players and the Junior Leaguers and Planned Barrenhood and the Log Cabin rump ranger crowd and the gun grabbers, etc., etc. "Responsible, mature, reasonable conservatives" means faux "conservative" sock monkeys and surrender artists and militant mindless mushballs. "Party shangrila" in real terms means having a party that says what it means and means what it says when adopting an actual conservative platform.
8. Conservatives are not "insulting one another" here. Conservatives are insulting all things liberal and leftist, including you. If that bothers you, then DU, HuffPo, etc. await and are available to you and would make you a lot more comfortable. That "moderation" you love so much is exemplified by the fact that the only things in the "middle of the road" are stripes and dead armadilloes. Which are you? Whichever, you ARE the opposition.
9. In 1976 when Ronaldus Maximus went after Feckless Loser Spineless Ford, I was one of Reagan's state chairmen. Were you? I did not think so. By being verrrrry unreasonable for 16 years, his supporters got him elected. I first worked on staff for Reagan at the 1968 convention. You did not.

I even voted for RINO Nixon against Humphrey and George Wallace, RINO Ford against Carter, RINO Bush (New World Order) the Elder, RINO Dole, and RINO McCain and every other GOP nominee of my voting lifetime. That is the past and not the future. I absolutely refuse to vote for another worthless RINO even against Obozo. The max remaining for Obozo is 4 more years. If Obozo is re-elected, the GOP leadership in Congress will just have to grow a pair. A pseudo-Republican monster like Robamney is eligible for eight. The GOP would be in ruins as well as the country. Even Obama cannot achieve that result. I don't care if Robamney resurrects Ronald Reagan in his relative youth to be his running mate, the answer is no.
11. Now, as principled Republicans (nowadays practically a contradiction in terms) abandon Robamney, we will hear how the boogie man will get us if we don't watch out (defined as vote for Robamney)! No he won't. Robamney and his fellow squishballs and corrupticans can sit around and spin theories as to how, once he has bought the GOP nomination, we conservatives hate Obozo sooooo much that we will have no alternative but to vote squishball. Robamney is in for a verrrrry big surprise if he buys that nomination. His campaign has been an absolute new RINO low and his election is not to be tolerated and it won't be. Enjoy election night! Curse us energetically. It will be good exercise.

In any event, I cannot vote for Romney. I have sworn here at FR (twice) that God should strike me dead if I eve vote for Romney. (shrug) So now I can’t vote for Romney without risking my life. Have fun with your Mittens.
