My wife and I have decided that if Romney wins the primary, we are choosing not to vote for a president in the General Election.

That is your right, of course, but in my mind that's a vote for Obama. I'm not a Mitt fan either, but getting Obama out of the White House trumps ALL this time. If Romney wins it all, then a conservative Congress will help keep him in check.

This needs to be repeated on a daily basis if Mitt is the nominee...not my candidate either BUT this nation will not survive another 4 years of this lawless regime.

—Our forces are much more professional, better trained, and more committed than we were.—

And lets be blunt. Technology has matured to the point that we just don’t need as many men as we once did, relative to the number of men who would volunteer.

If Romney is the Republican nominee, it won’t matter who wins. We lose.

Obama is afraid of Newt because he knows Newt would hand his head on a platter every time that had a debate or discussion on virtually any topic. He’s afraid of Newt’s ability to articulate fundamental republican principles over the marxist dogma Obama espouses.

If Newt is not the Nominee, and if we win in 2012, Newt should be made the Secretary of State.

If Santorum is not the nominee, make him the US Attorney General.

Make Paul the Secretary of the Treasury.

Romeny, if he is not the nominee, would be an excellent head of the economic council.

West for Secretary of Defense.

What an unbelievable GOP cabinet could be created by the individuals that we have. And if they were working with large majorities in the Hosue and Senate, we could make unbelievable progress in turning things around and in have a 12-16 year run that fundamentally restores America to its roots and its stength as a nation, economically, foreign policy wise, defense wise, and socially.

And since we have such dependence on advanced technology, we need to invest more time and money in training. We can't afford a revolving door military.

We have not been overwhelmed with volunteers. We are meeting our quotas, but that could be affected if the economy recovers.

The reductions in our forces are due in large part to budget cuts, which are driving force levels rather than techonolgy and mission. We are entering the familiar phase of declining powers when "guns versus butter" dominates funding levels.

"Obama is afraid of Newt because he knows Newt would hand his head on a platter every time that had a debate or discussion on virtually any topic."

If Newt does get the nomination, watch the media introduce a new debate format that will neutralize this advantage. Don't know what it might be, I just know that's what will happen.

When I think of our future military, I apply things like this and what it can easily lead to:

If the election was fair, zero would lose. But it won't be. The liberals will pull out all the stops, even blatant cheating, to win for zero. Zero will win re-election thanks to illegal voting, multiple voting, dead voting and supression of the military vote.

All of these are portion but who is counting the votes? A computer system that is not allowed to vent & has no checks & balances. The computer experts know this. They can tweak the voting to the outcome they want. The whole voting system is a complete joke.

Just say NO to Socialism - it’s easy if you have any self-pride.

You mean like how the current conservative Congress is keeping Obama in check?

Let's get real here. Do you want two or more Kagans on the Supreme Court? There can be nothing worse than Big Ears back for 4 yrs unchecked. Again I say, get real.

You can send whatever message you want to the GOP, but it will be meaningless and irrelevant. It is akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Given what is at stake, i.e., the survival of the Republic, "anybody but Obama" should be the objective of patriots.

Even if Ronald Reagan rose from the dead and ran for president this time around, do you really think that one man in the office is going to be able to reverse the decades of corruption and Marxist infiltration of virtually every institution in this country? The simple answer is not "no", but "hell no". Now add to that the idea of someone like Romney in the office. Not only will the direction of this country not change, but he will most likely actively continue most of the worst policies.

In other words, we might as well go for the best guy out there, whether he wins or loses, because either way this country is going down. I would almost prefer the collapse occur within the next few years while I am still young enough to help squash the commies and rebuild.

More meaningless scare tactics. Non of the conservative supreme court justices or even Kennedy has to retire in the next 4 years. Usually these folks serve until they cannot serve anymore. If Republicans keep the House they can keep Obama in check and he would not be able to do anything significant.

or it is disinformation intended to lull conservatives into a false sense of security.

(like obama not helping democrats in congress)

we have to keep fighting and keep moving and most importantly keep talking to others.

They will certainly try...but I do not believe Newt will play aloong. He ate the MSM alive in the debates with the other GOP contenders.

I like his plan to inisist on a certain number of Lincoln style debates and to follow Obama around, speaking after him in each city, hammering it home until Obama agrees.

But, Obama simply will not agree. It will make a difference to you and me...but we would be voting for Newt anyway. Independents will probably be impacted by it...but the vast majority of Obama cupporters simply do not care. he is their meat wagon and they will vote for him no matter what.

We just need to get the base out and have the independents come over because of the disasterous policies...and I believe we can make that happen.

The country has survived way worth than Obama throughout her history and not only we have survived but also we have prospered and have become more powerful and more advanced than any other nation in history of mankind. Yes we can survive 4 more years of Obama if we have to and if we keep the House, most probably the case, then Obama damage would be greatly limited. In fact historically Obama has so far done far less damage in implementing socialism than FDR or even LBJ. Obama is probably the worst socialist President in term of rhetoric but his actions are much weaker than his rhetoric because he is weak and incompetent and for this we are fortunate.
