What is happening here is the Compost and the Slimes are seeing the writing on the wall regarding the upcoming elections and see a total wipe out.
They are starting the damage control now to limit congressional losses to hopefully not have a filibuster proof Republican Senate.
They are actually running cover for Pelosi and Reid.
