If the goal is to stop Romney and ultimately, Obama, what earthly purpose do your rants against Santorum accomplish except to make you Newt lovers look like sore losers?
Newt’s campaign is OVER. His funds are drying up, his supporters are abandoning him in droves, his percentages in state polls abysmal. There is no point in his staying in the race except to fuel his own limitless ego needs.
He could have been a hero if he had withdrawn and thrown his support to Santorum. Likely he will now be remembered only for being a spoiler.
You should be thankful that he slithered by the vetting process until just recently. He is now being exposed for his big govt., flip flopping record.
