This post was timed well. Sort of makes my point for the other thread.
You see that nanny state guy claims that everything we dont want the federal government to make illegal is something we condone? Great logic justifying a totalitarian dictatorship.
You know that’s all B.S., right?
The timing is quite fitting. As I said previously, they are just as bad from the opposite direction.

He is making the case that state voters cant make their own laws if he thinks those laws are immoral, not understanding that his logic is the whole rationale and defense of Obama-care: Dems cant trust the states voters unless they do what they say is ‘right’, like BC manadates.
Seems like his logic could be used to justify ending all voting.

If this actually happens, there would be chaos like you wouldn’t believe. You mentioned China & Russia coming in, I believe we’d also have an invasion from our southern border that would make our current illegal problems look like a Sunday school party.
Perhaps that would explain reports of Chinese military camps about 60 miles south of the TX/Mexico border. Truck drivers from the US side having all the electronics confiscated, mirrors removed and getting escorts to the camps. Offloaded with no knowledge of their cargo, then returned to the border. Electronics and mirrors returned upon release to the US side. The experience was recounted by a truck driver who could only estimate the 60 mile distance by the driving time.

Yeah, I don’t think the black hooded boys will like getting 2-3 of their team members shot every time they run into a house to take someone’s guns away. It tends to hurt morale.
Plus, they’ll have to start thinking, “Wait, why am I doing this?”
Plus all that gator food will have those gators smacking their lips - that is if you get past the nests of water moccasins.

That is why the Founders explained that maintenence of the Constitution was the job of We The People, not the government. That also explains why the second ammendment is in the Bill of Rights.
