I do not understand the slam of "not being likable." Where is that coming from?

I don’t think it is a slam. Newt is not warm and squishy or a shuckster. The slam is more on the shallow voters who want a president who makes them feel good. Newt comes across as an intellectual. I love that. I loved that about Dick Cheney.
