From the looks of the lineup this week, this observation will seem late, because the teacup seems to have calmed down, but I will bring it up anyway:

Rush Limbaugh looked at the Sandra Fluke problem the wrong way; we aren't being asked to pay so she can have sex, we are supposed to pay so she won't have children. And based on everything I have seen and heard from and about the woman, the world would be a better place if Sandra Fluke never has children. They would probably grow up to be selfish, whining, snot-nose little brats just like her.

And I mean that in the best way, of course.

We are being asked to pay for her having unprotected sex. Birth control pills don't protect you from STDs including AIDS.

Looks like CNN is trying to win the ratings war of the Sunday shows with Santorum & Ryan. That’s a headline in itself!

Regarding Rush Limbaugh, I wrote a cranky letter to a Dallas Morning News columnist, a lame liberal lady (and a dull writer).

She was calling Limbaugh a pig and constantly used the term ‘oink’, as in Limbaugh oinked.

I challenged her on a couple of things. One, she was decrying name calling while calling someone a pig. Apparently, she didn’t see the irony.

Two, I mentioned the tolerance of name calling by liberal dudes such as Bill Maher and Letterman. She said she didn’t like Maher but didn’t write about him because he wasn’t an influential figure like Rush. (that much is true).

She was also decrying the attacks on women. I informed her that being in any group, women, black, gay, whatever, did not entitled one to behave badly without being rebuked.

I told her that I am currently in two groups: female and old but that I didn’t expect to be able to be a lying bitch without being called on it.

I heard Rush the day he made the comments and just laughed. He was ticked off at the gall of the woman. He made a mistake (I guess) as the left seized upon it as an opportunity to bash him and conservatives.

However, it did end up shedding some light on the Fluke gal and her hypocrisy.

So how it balanced out, I don’t know if we’ll know.
