Two-State Newt is determined to stay in; it might be a financial thing. It’s certainly not a plan to be nominated.
Instead, it appears to be a plan to have a seat at the table when we get to the convention without a nominee. Whereas Ron might "make" Mitt, Newt might "make" Rick.
