On March 16th, President Obama signed a new Executive Order which expands upon a prior order issued in 1950 for Disaster Preparedness, and gives the office of the President complete control over all the resources in the United States in times of war or emergency.
The National Defense Resources Preparedness order gives the Executive Branch the power to control and allocate energy, production, transportation, food, and even water resources by decree under the auspices of national defense and national security. The order is not limited to wartime implementation, as one of the order's functions includes the command and control of resources in peacetime determinations.
Additionally, each cabinet under the Executive Branch has been given specific powers when the order is executed, and include the absolute control over food, water, and other resource distributions.
The Obama administration appears to be preparing for a long drawn out war in the Middle East, or at the very least, an expected crisis that will require the need to override Constitutional authority and claim dominion over all resources in the United States under the guise of national defense. With the rise in Disaster Preparedness growing for both individuals and states leading up to yesterday's Executive Order, the mood of the nation points strongly towards some event or disaster that will require massive preparations on a national as well as local scale.

You have to wonder sometimes if this is some kind of weird dream and in a second we will wake up. All of this stuff with him is nearly unbelievable. While we were asleep and dreaming that we would remain free, they were scheming and working like mad to take us over. We had better wake up, get a grip and do what needs to be done, relying on God for wisdom, courage, ability and everything we need for the task at hand. This is not a game. Red dawn is here, not as an attack from the outside but from inside, as a massive cancer.
The ACLU is not on this yet. No time? They are all over the NDAA section 1021 (unlimited detention for U.S. citizens without due process) and HR 437 (the protest act).
What does it say when the ACLU is concerned about this stuff and our own guys helped to pass it?

I agree, however although it is true that as man falls away from God’s grace by his distancing through sin, the world becomes darker, however I believe there is a larger lesson here, as in the end the meek will inherit the earth, God wants what is best for those who seek Him, a concreted earth selling off the planet, or having a society whose brutality is the law, aka Islam are both unacceptable outcomes to God..
We are being pushed to make our faith strong or to make us break..Because the Lord knows without faith the blessings he wishes to give us do not mature in the reality he gives us, ..compare Eden to now..

A man like Barack Obama cannot be trusted to exercise this kind of authority in the ways intended.
Nor can any “new world order” type President be trusted.
US law---and our sacrosanct rule of law----are predicated on the assumption that an elected US president would be a patriot, who would honor his oath of office and uphold the US Constitution, and would defend the interests of America and Americans first and foremost.......
Instead we got Barack Obama as president....a traitor to the country, a traitor to his oath of office, a traitor to the US Constitution and an America-hater who degrades and diminishes Americans, and our interests.
Obama cannot be trusted to exercise the kind of authority given a leader in the ways the founders intended.

Many years ago my schools were good for children's education and my generation slipped through on the edge of the changes I believe were due to Cloward-Piven with a little Alinsky.
We could possibly go back to that system but the government and its lobbyists would have to be gutted.

Looks like we are both very fortunate. When I was in high school 1969-1972, it was just beginning to become tainted.
Nothing at all like it is now. Also Newton High School was at that time, the top rated public high school in New England. I was able to skip my freshman year of college.
