I was a staffing manager for a temporary company at a Foxconn cell phone refurbishing plant in Alliance, Texas. I worked three 12 hour days a week (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) and was considered full time. It was the highest paying job I ever had. I’d still be there but for my health.

It’s about a minute into the tape... (New York Times people - caught undercover - taped by a conservative) Enjoy:

> It’s funny, I’ve seen liberals in various comments threads go on about Apple and Foxconn. I’ll bet it traces straight back to this Daisey guy.

For months, every anti-Apple, anti-American-business idiot has used the Daisey lies as a cudgel to beat up Apple and make them look bad. Apple's enemies have loved this fabricated opportunity. Maybe they'll be a little more discreet now. Maybe.

“firestorm of controversy regarding the ethics of Apple (and other large tech companies) using cheap Chinese labor ....”

Do any of these hand-wringers care what would happen to these workers if Apple (and others) didn’t hire them?
