And so if they are all that, they are a private affair still. If their cult means nothing but evil then why complain that they won’t let some of their women go to some of those evil ceremonies? It’s silly, it means nothing to the discourse of national politics, no more than similar ritual distinctions made by Orthodox Jews do.
Are you a Mormon? I’m asking in the interest of disclosure.
It gets people TALKING about MORMONISM.
Not Romney. Not Obama. Not the election.
Mormonism. And what Mormons DO THAT IS DIFFERENT.
Then they’ll start to think about Romney being a Mormon himself and what that means to them, personally.
Bishop Romney is the Patriarch of perhaps the most powerful family in the entire cult leadership, he will be promoted in office within the religion, regardless of how this election turns out.
Romney is a religious leader, his single term in elective office before trying to purchase the Presidency was just for political reasons to expose him to the non-Mormon world. The Bishop is not a mere Mormon.
I didn’t know that Orthodox Jews had super secret ceremonies and rituals that only the “chosen” are allowed to participate in.
