Something will always be manufactured in the USA. Purchasing offshore can’t be kept up ad infinitum or money and credit runs out. I do not know what reflects the sillier judgment, the size of the IOU that the US has written to China or the size of the IOU that China has accepted from the US. (Which are the same thing, but viewed in two different contexts.) The US cannot make good and neither can China redeem it, so....

What I’m finding in California is that it is down to Tortillas, and a little Defense related manufacturing, not much else. Makes is kind of hard to find a job when your background is a Manufacturing Manager, whom doesn’t speak Spanish.
The US has backed up its iou to china with REAL property. Land and mineral resources that have been put off limits to us. With more to come if oscama is reelected...or romney.
