All I can think of is to pray for Sgt Bales and his family.

I have a cousin that did 2 tours in Iraq and 2 in Afghanistan as an EOD team leader. The stories are chilling to say the least. Four tours after getting blown up several times is just too dam much to ask of any human.

The current administration is to blame for this. You just can’t keep sending soldiers in to that kind of situation.

My heart goes out to Sgt Bales and his family. I will try to do everything in my control to support him and his family.

Please keep us posted on anything he needs.

My older brother, who fought in VN, told me this happened to them. The elite were overly in love with the enemy (rino “bipartisan” was the deal of his day) and did not give a rat’s patooie about the Americans. The elite were treasonous in his eyes. He told me not to ever trust them in a war. He came home from VN when I was in grade school and did not tell me about what happened until I was in high school. :(

He has passed away. I am glad he’s not here to see the “progress” they have made in betraying the constitution while they betray the soldiers in a different war with a communist Muslim in the White House! That is the blessing of him dying young, I guess. There is one less airport agent with his nose bone connected to his throat bone.

Same here. And the details that are now slowly trickling out are only confirming this. He should've never been sent to Afghanistan. He had already performed his duty and paid for it. It was time to send someone else.

Your description shows someone who would’ve done damage in much more effective ways if even if he lost positive control.

It will be interesting to find out if the village attacked is also the same area in which the friend's leg allegedly was blown off.

Who was the lieutenant who had to catch and release an insurgent he was certain was the killer of some of his troops? As I recall the Lt ended up charged, but the killer ended up dead.

Thank you for your service and for this most important post.

I work with veterans of these wars at the VA. When I first heard the story my first thought was of PTSD and the multiple deployments. The American people have NO-NO-NO clue what these brave men are and have gone through. Most people have no idea of TBI, PTSD and what the effects/problems are.

Heck, most Americans have NO clue what war is.

I am heartbroken for this man and he and his family need our prayers...and when the time comes our loud and strong support of him. ..our loud and strong denunciation of the anti-military Liberals that created this monstorous multiple deployments, lack of care for our veterans and then, maligning the good and strong.

Where the hell are all the anti-war protestors when the military gets cut, when there are these tragedies? F...g phonies they are!

I also hope there is a fund started for a “dream team” of attorneys and support for his family.

I am just so angry and so sad.
