Zimmerman, who was in his car, slowly following Martin, who was on foot. When Martin went down a walkway between two rows of buildings, Zimmerman told the 911 operator that he was not going to let one of these ***holes get away again. He was told to wait for police, instead he left his car to pursue Martin. He had it right at first. He called the police and observed. Unless he actually saw him committing a crime there was no reason to pursue. The association is going to lose a big civil suit whether Zimmerman is charged with a crime or not.

He had it right at first. He called the police and observed Even that is disputable. "Even the basis for Zimmerman's initial phone call is questionable.
Here's why: The sheriffs' association manual lists the type of suspicious activity that should be reported to police. Among the examples: "Someone peering into car windows" and "broken doors or windows." "
The only suspicious action Zimmerman reported was Martin was wearing a hoodie jacket on a rainy February night.
