The nine-pound hammer is celebrated in American folk music as being the one that “killed John Henry”. I learned about it from Doc Watson, whose storytelling skills are second only to his legendary flat-picking. [I’m not even a folk music fan, but I am a ***major*** Doc Watson fan.]
So in a sense, the nine-pound hammer is a greater tribute than a sixteen lb sledge, since I doubt as many musical tributes have been written about the latter. If the nine-pounder sufficed to lay railroad tracks prior to the steam hammer, let’s agree it can do the job on the dam constructed by Obama and his bots.
:)
I stand humbled by your superior knowledge! LOL I had no idea. The only other hammer I have ever heard about was the Beetles little silver hammer... (grins)
