Not really. NOTHING will be done to the officers. Let me look into my crystal ball.

  1. First, their names will not be released "to protect the officers."
  2. Next the officers MIGHT be placed on paid leave for a while
  3. Next there will be an "internal investigation" that will drag on for months (when one cop shot and killed another at GA's police academy the investigation took 18 months with the predictable whitewash at the end)
  4. At the end of the internal investigation the officers will have been found to have "followed departmental procedures." For anyone who is not already aware of this, police apparently don't have to obey laws, just "follow departmental procedures"
  5. Finally there will be no satisfaction of any sort for their victim, and they will go on to do this again
My look into the crystal ball based on past performance. And of course if the family sues the city for medical costs, the TAXPAYERS will be the ones shelling out, and the police who did this will never face any negative consequences for this act.
