Obama strongly defended his plans to make America a leader in new energy sources like biofuels, and wind power and solar power, and rebuked Republicans for opposing his plans to cut subsidies to profit cranking oil producers.

This "leader in new energy sources" is like aspiring to be the leader in lead-weighted running shoes...

Here is why this Green energy talk wont work for Obama the way it worked for Dems in 2007 :

Bush is not POTUS, Obama has been for 3+ energy. Voters can see that green energy has not lowered their energy costs as Dems led them to believe in would in 2007.

To sell this scam again Obama has to make you believe that Bush was POTUS through 2011 and Obama mjust took office so these ideas are all new never been tried, except maybe Spain.

One of the reasons voters were suckered by green energy in 2007 was they believed ending wars and cutting military costs would result from us not having to use oil anymore and green energy instead, (not kidding), but with Obama in office 3+ years with rising gas prices and still at war that scam doesn't work anymore.
