And the hard-core Ubama supporters will support him even if he gets caught eating babies.
My guy? My guy is Mitch Daniels, and he's not running. I think the crop of GOP candidates is as bad as I can ever remember, as witnessed by the fact that Santorum is actually a serious candidate for election--let's be real; in any other year, he'd be a single digit candidate.
So you have to make the best of a bad situation, and that's to pick a terrible candidate early and unite behind him--think of this as the GOP's John Kerry. Newt is absolutely awful and is completely incapable of winning anything, so he's out. Santorum or Romney, I don't care. 6 one, half dozen the other. Let's pick one and then start running against Obama. Remember, the idea is to win in November.
