One good start is to stop putting Ethanol in our gas.””
O pwn a station wagon I bought in 1980.
I own a Chevy Dually 1 ton truck I bought in 1986.
I keep track of my mileage—I always have since I got my first car at age 17 and I am now 72.
The addition of Ethanol into my vehicles drops my MPG as much as 14%. It drops a minimum of 10%, so I am using MORE fuel and making a larger “carbon foorptint” due to the messing around with gasoline blends.
IF Obama pushes the % of Ethanol much higher, the additive stuff will destroy gas lines & certain valves & gaskets. That will stall out many a vehicle with massive costs to repair them.
The 12% reduction is a NASCAR number since they have to burn that crap.
